Local Healthcare Professional Opens Desert Moon Fresh Mexican Grille in Hagerstown, MD marking the Company’s 20th unit. 2/26/
When long-time oncology professional, Janet Daniels decided to expand and diversify her business career, she wanted a way to generate income and continue on her successful path. Ms. Daniels needed to find something new, exciting and unique to use as a vehicle to build her expanding portfolio. She also wanted to introduce a cuisine that was fresh and healthful to the Hagerstown market. She chose Desert Moon Fresh Mexican Grille, a Fast Casual brand known as "The Fresh Healthful Alternative to Fast Food" for serving, made to order, fresh menu items. Ms. Daniels, a Radiation Therapist for years, came across the Desert Moon brand when she was looking at franchises and totally loved the concept.A long time advocate of fresh made, great tasting food and in the health care profession, Ms. Daniels saw the opportunity to bring fresh Mexican food to the underserved, under penetrated market of Hagerstown,  MD.
Ms. Daniels said "I was looking for a restaurant that offered food that is healthful rather than fast food.†I realized there are no Mexican restaurant chains serving good, fresh Mexican food here in Hagerstown " Ms. Daniels went on to say," the only Mexican food I was able to find in this area was fast food, and I don't eat fast food. I always look for a better, higher quality alternative to fast food, Desert Moon fit the bill.
